What is the Benefits of
Using Avocado Oil?

Avocado Oil Persea gratissima is obtained from the fruit and contains many nutrients like vitamins, protein, lecithin, is rich in fatty acids, contains 56 -75% oleic acid and is a natural UV sun screen agent.

It is extracted by cold pressing and is quite thick and slightly sticky oil and should be combined with lighter oils such as sweet almond.

This oil is an emollient (softening and soothing to the skin). It is suitable for all skin types and is very nourishing. Especially good to use on dry, dehydrated skin, wrinkles, scars, and eczema.

It is a good oil for anti-wrinkle creams, skin softening and for healing. The lecithin content gives it superb penetration, especially when there is large amounts of subcutaneous fat (located under the skin) because the lecithin aids in breaking down fatty tissue.

This oil is used in tropical skin products and is an excellent emollient to use in creams, body lotions, and facial cleansers.

You can use this oil in a 10% solution, added with other oils it aids their penetration
