What is the Benefits of
Using Calendula Oil?

Calendula Oil, also known as Marigold oil, or Calendula officinalis is obtained from the marigold flower and is rich in carotene and vitamin A.

It is actually an infused oil of marigold flower petals.

It is especially good for irritated skin. It is antiseptic and soothing so it is an excellent treatment for neglected, dry, chapped or cracked skin, wounds and scars.

The properties of this oil are antiseptic, healing, vasodilator, anti-seborrhea, and it promotes healing. Because of these properties it is a good oil to use for application for wounds, bruises and other injuries and in creams for chapped hands.

You can use this oil in a 10% solution adding it to other lighter 100% use oils.

Try making your own calendula infused oil by putting calendula/marigold flowers in a jar of olive oil. Find step in the recipe section.
