What is the Benefits of Carrot Carrier Oil?
Carrot Carrier Oil, Daucus carota is obtained from the vegetable, leaf stalks, and flowers. It is rich in vitamins especially vitamin A and beta carotene. It has a strong orange color.
Three products are extracted from carrots, the essential oil is distilled from the seeds and an oil is also obtained from the roots by solvent extraction but is not used in aromatherapy. The third product is an infused oil which is what we use for the carrier oil.
This carrier oil is suitable for all skin types, especially for dry or mature aging skin. It helps to balance the moisture in the skin.
It helps damaged skin like burns, wounds, cuts, scars, and even skin cancer. It helps heal dry and cracked skin. It is a good oil for face and neck treatments and may even help to reduce wrinkling. Also use it on areas that need extra attention like the elbows and knees.
You can use it for help in treating fungal infections of the finger and toenails. You can also check out the essential oils that are also good for fungal infection like maybe cedarwood, patchouli or tea tree and add to it.
Use it in your creams and lotions to treat the affected areas and also to preserve your suntan.
You can use this oil in a 10% solution adding it to other lighter 100% use oils as it is expensive.
