What are the Benefits of
Hazelnut Oil?

Most Hazelnut Oil (Corylus avellana) comes from Turkey and is obtained from the kernel. It is extracted by cold pressing, the nuts contain 40% oil.

It is high in oleic acid and is rich in vitamins, minerals, and proteins similar to sunflower and olive oil. It does not go rancid quickly.

It is suitable for all skins types, especially oily skin as it is slightly astringent.

It penetrates well and nourishes the skin and stimulates circulation so is good to use in a massage for bad circulation.

Use it in your night creams and hand and body lotions.

You can use this oil in a 100% solution, but it is expensive so you may want to add it to other carrier oils.
