What are the Benefits of
Jojoba Oil?

Jojoba Carrier Oil (Simmondisa chinensis) (pronounced hohoba) is found in North America and was used by the Native American Indians. The oil is obtained from the bean of a desert plant. It is extracted by cold pressing and is yellow in color.

It is technically a liquid wax that mimics collagen. The oil contains minerals and protein and keeps well as it is not prone to oxidation.

It is suitable for all skin (and hair) types. The oil penetrates the skin wonderfully and is nourishing, softening, and soothing (especially to irritated skin) giving you skin that feels very soft and smooth.

It is beneficial for fat tissue as it emulsifies fat. It is balancing and helpful to use with inflamed skin, eczema, psoriasis and acne.

This oil has a number of uses, try it in your skin moisturizer, hair conditioner, in sunscreen and massage oil or cream. It is popular to use as a base for oil-based perfumes.

You can use this oil in a 10% solution adding it to other lighter 100% use oils.
